Kelvinix Cooling

Engineering & Support

The hardware is half of a liquid cooling project. These are the services that make up the other half, and they are included rather than quoted separately.

Thermal modelling

Before anything is priced, we model it. You send rack elevations and per-device power; we return a hydraulic simulation of the full flow network with pressure drop at every branch, a Delta-T budget, CDU redundancy sizing and a loop schematic. Where the layout is unusual we run CFD on the room as well.

Factory wet testing

Every CDU runs on our test rig at rated flow and pressure before shipment. You get the measured pump curve, approach temperature at duty and the leak test record with the unit. Witnessed factory acceptance testing is available on request and we encourage it on first orders.

Installation and commissioning

Our field engineers handle mechanical tie-in, system flush, fill with treated coolant, pressure hold and leak verification. Then control tuning: we trend the loop against the design schematic until the measured Delta-T matches the drawing, and hand over against that data.

Fluid programme

Coolant is a consumable with a chemistry, not a fill-and-forget. We supply the initial charge, a sampling schedule, laboratory analysis of returned samples and filtration servicing for the life of the loop. Inhibitor depletion is gradual and entirely predictable if somebody is looking.

Field response

48-hour on-site response worldwide, with critical spares held regionally. Remote diagnostics are available through the KX-SENTRY M1 gateway, which usually means we know what is wrong before the engineer boards the flight.

Training

Operator training is delivered at handover and covers normal operation, leak response, quick-disconnect procedure and what the trend charts should look like. For immersion sites the training is longer and hands-on, because the service procedure genuinely differs from anything the team has done before.

Send us your rack layout and heat load

Our applications engineers return a sized loop schematic, flow and Delta-T budget, and a bill of materials within two working days.
