Description
Willow charcoal is the most forgiving drawing material there is: bold enough for gesture, soft enough to erase with a fingertip, cheap enough to use without ceremony. This box holds twenty-five kiln-fired sticks in mixed widths, from whisper-thin liners to thumb-wide blocks for tone.
The burn is even end to end, so sticks do not crumble mid-stroke or skip hard spots. They arrive nested in a plain kraft tray that keeps the dust where it belongs. The least expensive thing on our shelves and the one most often responsible for a breakthrough – fix the drawing before it is precious.
