Every product we sell spends weeks in the Fold Lab – the corner of our studio where samples are loaded, folded, stacked and generally mistreated until we trust them. This page is the honest tour.
Loaded before listed
A basket that looks fine empty can slump the day it earns a job. Every sample is loaded to its rated weight and left on a shelf for a month – rims that ripple, walls that bow and handles that loosen go back to the drawing board, not into the catalogue.
Folded a thousand times
Our fold-flat pieces are cycled on a small rig that opens and closes them a thousand times – roughly ten years of seasonal switching. Seams that fray or stiffeners that crease early are redesigned. A fold-flat box that only folds flat twice is a box with a secret, and we do not sell secrets.
Stacked and toppled
Anything that claims to stack is stacked three high, loaded, and nudged the way a passing hip nudges a shelf. Sets that slide or wedge are re-proportioned. The result is the quiet confidence of storage that stays where it was put.
Packed flat, shipped tidy
Products that nest or fold ship that way – less air in the box, less box in the bin. Everything arrives with a one-line care note and nothing arrives wrapped in more material than it is made of. Tidiness that begins in the parcel tends to continue on the shelf.
