Sipwell began with a commute, a lukewarm coffee and the realisation that most drinkware is either disposable or disappointing. We wanted the middle gone: bottles, tumblers and mugs in honest stainless steel and glass, sized to real bags and real cup holders, priced so a household could retire single-use cups without a second thought. So we started making them.
What we make and choose
Everything in the catalogue passes the same three tests in our Fill Lab: it must hold its seal upside down in a loaded bag, keep drinks at temperature through a working day, and come apart for honest cleaning without tools. Steel is 18/8 food-grade, glass is borosilicate, and every part that touches a drink is BPA-free. If a sample fails a season of daily use at one of our own desks, it does not ship.

How we work
- Fit first: every listing states capacity and cup-holder fit plainly, and sizing questions get answered by a person with a tape measure in reach.
- Honest materials: stainless steel, borosilicate glass and food-grade silicone – described in plain words, with care instructions that fit on one line.
- Repair over replace: lids, seals and straws are all sold separately, so one good bottle stays in service for years.
