The CVS-V climbs or descends up to eight metres on a continuous helix around a single mast, moving product between mezzanine levels in a footprint barely wider than the belt itself. Flow never stops to wait for a platform, which is why spirals replace vertical lifts on any line that values rate.
The slat belt grips product on the climb without cleats, so cartons, totes and shrink-wrapped trays ride the same spiral.
