Heavy-Duty Dee Shackle
The dee profile keeps a single line centred on the pin, which is exactly what you want on a chainplate, a backstay or a lifting point. Not intended for multi-leg loading.
- Narrow body keeps a single line centred and prevents the pin from being loaded across its axis.
- Rolled thread rather than cut thread, for a higher fatigue limit at the pin shoulder.
- Hexagon pin head takes a spanner for controlled tightening on a rig under tension.
- Supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 material certificate on request.

Product Details
Standard fitting at chainplates, backstay terminations and lifting eyes. If the connection has to take load from two directions, use the bow shackle instead: a dee shackle loaded across the pin loses a large part of its rating.
For commercial work we can supply this product with individual test records rather than a batch certificate. Please state that at the time of order, as the records are generated during the test run.
