Fibreline works on one stretch of the mill: everything between the bale line and the finished roll. Pulpers and screens, forming and press sections, coating and calendering, winders and sheeters, plus the rolls, fabrics and wear parts those positions consume.
How we think about a machine section
A section has to do three things at the same time, and the third one is the one that usually gets designed out: hold the sheet at speed, hold the profile across the width, and still be serviceable after twenty years of shifts. So we design the third one in on purpose — doors that open, blades that come out without a crane, journals machined to the bearing maker’s tolerance rather than to ours.
Who does what here
- Application engineering: reads the furnish, grade plan and machine layout on every inquiry before any steel is cut.
- Fabrication and machining: frames welded and stress-relieved in one bay, rolls turned and balanced in the next, with in-process checks between.
- Pilot line: new section designs run there across furnishes and speeds, and the settings that hold the sheet become the delivered defaults.
- Service: erection supervision, commissioning, operator training, stocked spares, and a desk that answers when a machine is standing.
