FAQ

Coated glass, throughput, consumables and lead times.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else, ask an engineer.

What information do you need to recommend a machine?

Three things start every recommendation: the products you process and their glass types, the maximum and typical glass sizes, and the daily volume the machine must sustain. Plant layout and utility details refine the recommendation to a committed specification.

Can your machines handle coated and low-emissivity glass?

Yes — washing machines carry coating-rated soft brushes, cutting tables detect coating side, and tempering recipes include convection assist profiles for coated products. State the coating types in your inquiry and the quoted configuration reflects them.

How is processing speed specified honestly?

Throughput depends on glass thickness, size mix and operator flow, so our specifications state typical values under named conditions rather than ideal-case maximums. The quoted number is one you can plan production against.

Do you supply wheels and consumables for machines we already own?

Often yes. Diamond wheels, polishing consumables and brushes are matched by machine model and spindle position. For other brands, send the machine model and a photo of the current wheel set — we confirm fit before quoting rather than guessing.

What are typical lead times?

Stock machines ship within weeks of order confirmation; engineered lines typically run several months depending on configuration. Consumables ordered by serial number ship from stock. The order confirmation states the committed date.

What documentation ships with a machine?

Every machine ships with its operator manual, maintenance schedule, spare parts book, alignment and inspection record and declaration of conformity. Records stay retrievable by serial number for the machine’s working life.
