Description
If you own one brewing vessel, make it a gaiwan. Porcelain is neutral, so it tells you the truth about a tea, and the flared rim means you can hold it through eight infusions without burning your fingers.
This one is 110 ml — small enough for gongfu ratios, large enough to be worth the trouble — in a pale celadon crackle glaze that ages visibly as tea stains the crazing.
Living with it
Dishwasher safe, though the crackle will darken faster if you use one. That is a feature, not a fault.
