The Marlow is the bicycle we built first and have quietly refined ever since. It is designed around a simple idea — that most city journeys are short, frequent and made in whatever you happen to be wearing.
Built around the commute
The step-through frame is brazed from double-butted chromoly, which gives it a forgiving ride over cobbles and kerbs without feeling vague. The riding position is deliberately upright: your eyes sit above car roofs, your wrists carry no weight, and you can look over your shoulder without unshipping yourself.
Nothing to maintain
An eight-speed internal hub does the shifting, so there is no derailleur to knock out of line against a bike rack. The chain runs inside a full aluminium case, which means it stays clean, stays lubricated, and stays off your trouser leg. Roller brakes work identically wet or dry.
Ready on arrival
Every Marlow leaves the workshop assembled, trued and road-tested, with fenders and a rear rack already fitted. Unbox it, turn the bars straight, and ride.
