Description

Most twelve-strings ask you to tune down a whole step because they were built like a six-string and cannot survive the load. This one is braced for it: a heavier X tapered towards the rim, a thicker bridge plate, a laminated neck block and a two-way truss rod. Tuned to concert pitch with a light set it carries about 230 pounds, and it will stay there.

The octave courses are spaced 0.145 inch from their partners so a flatpick catches both cleanly. A 1.875 inch nut gives your fingers somewhere to go.
