Shipping & Returns

How an instrument travels, the fourteen-day approval window, and what the warranty actually covers.

Shipping

Every instrument ships in a fitted hard case, inside an outer carton with a protective inner frame. Shipping is insured door to door for the full replacement value and requires a signature.

Destination Service Time Cost
Domestic Insured ground, signature 3 to 6 working days Included
Neighbouring countries Insured air, signature 5 to 9 working days $180
International Insured air, signature, export paperwork where required 7 to 14 working days $390

Duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Where an instrument needs extra export paperwork because of the woods used, we prepare it and it travels with the guitar; that can add two to three weeks and we will tell you before you pay.

The approval window

You have fourteen days from delivery to decide. If the instrument is not right, tell us within that window, send it back in its case and packaging in the condition it arrived, and we refund the full purchase price. Return shipping is on us domestically and split with you elsewhere.

Custom instruments built to an approved specification are covered by the same fourteen days, with one exception: if the specification included a wood we bought specifically for you, that portion of the cost is not refundable.

Warranty

Lifetime to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship, transferable once. It does not cover damage caused by extreme humidity, impact, heat, or third-party repairs. The first annual setup is free for life; postage is covered by us for the first two years.
