The PL-E520 turns loose printed sheets into stitched booklets: collating towers gather the set, the stitching head wires the spine, and the fold-and-trim section delivers a squared, face-trimmed booklet onto the ramp. One operator runs the whole line from a single panel.
Set thickness is sensed automatically and missing or double sheets divert before stitching, so the delivery ramp holds sellable work only. Changeovers between common formats recall from stored programs with guided gauge positions.
