Rows of large printing presses along a polished floor in a modern production hall

Carton Falls pressworks

Our presses hold register from makeready sheet ninety to the last sheet of the night shift.

We build sheet-fed offset, digital and narrow-web label presses, along with the die-cutters, folders, binders and laminators that finish the work they print. Every machine runs live jobs with real ink and stock on our own test floor before it is crated.

Colour-to-colour register (typical)
±0.05 mm
Makeready waste on a repeat job
90 sheets
Blanket change interval (typical)
1.2 M impressions

Register you check with a glass

Plate, blanket and impression cylinders are ground as matched sets, and every console correction moves in readable steps.

Tested on your own stock

Send a pallet of the paper you actually run and the acceptance job gets printed on it.

A stopped press jumps the queue

Downtime calls outrank everything else on the service desk board, new installations included.

Prepress through to the pallet

Platesetter, press, die-cutter and binder specified together, so the sheet never waits on a mismatch.

Before a model is released it runs real jobs here: mixed stocks, awkward files, deliberate stops on a Friday afternoon. Whatever settings survive that week become the defaults we ship.

Cylinders are ground here, in matched sets

Cylinders are ground here, in matched sets

Frame machining, cylinder grinding and assembly each get their own cell, and parts are measured while they are still on the machine that cut them. A cylinder set stays together from the grinder to the crate.

Three pressrooms, three years in

The press arrived with its settings sheet filled in from the acceptance run. First live job held register from the makeready pile onward.

A roller went on a Friday deadline and the matched part was on the evening courier with fitting notes. That is what support means in this trade.

Our own maintenance crew services the whole line with the manuals and the standard tool set. Nothing about it needs a specialist visit.

Working with us

What happens after you send a job profile

Most inquiries reach a quoted specification inside a week.

  1. You tell us what you print

Products, substrates, formats and monthly volumes. One email is enough to start.

  2. An engineer draws the line

Models, options and floor layout matched to the work, quoted with the numbers attached.

  3. We build it and print with it

Machined and assembled in-house, then run with ink and stock and audited against the safety file.

  4. Installed, and then kept running

Commissioning, operator training at the console, blankets from stock, downtime calls first.

Notes from the test floor

Things our engineers keep having to explain twice, written down once.

Tell us what you print, and on what

Formats, substrates and monthly volumes are enough to start. A specification with real numbers on it comes back inside a business day.
