The FL-CL600 runs the web through a vertical stack of polished chill-cast rolls, closing the surface and bringing caliper to a controlled, even value across the width. Roll count is configured to the grade plan; the frame accepts six to ten rolls on the same housings.
The king roll carries crown compensation, and stack loading is hydraulic with position feedback at both ends, so nip pressure repeats exactly after every opening. Roll changes use the integrated lifting rail — one crane pick per roll, no dismantling of neighbouring positions.
Thread-up is by rope carrier through the full stack. Interlocks and nip guards meet current machinery safety practice, and every nip point carries a pull-wire trip within reach.
