The FL-PR850 press section takes the web from the couch and carries it through two extended-contact nips, raising dryness so the dryer section works on water the press has already removed — the cheapest water any paper machine takes out.
Press rolls are crowned to the loading plan and drilled for grade-specific nip profiles; loading arms run on hydraulic cylinders with position feedback so nip load repeats shift after shift. Felt runs include uhle boxes with adjustable vacuum zoning, and every doctor mounts on a quick-release journal for blade changes inside a routine stop.
Framework and walkways ship pre-assembled in transport sections. Closed transfer from the forming section is standard, keeping the sheet supported through the press at all speeds.
