The FL-WS180 unwinds the machine reel, slits it into customer widths and rewinds finished rolls on two carrier drums. Circular top and bottom knives run in matched pairs on motorised holders — set width changes drive to position from the panel, not with a tape measure and a wrench.
Web tension, drum torque split and rider roll load follow a winding recipe per grade, holding roll hardness even from core to full diameter. Core chucks handle 3-inch and 6-inch cores without adapters.
Set change is automated: rolls eject to the lowering table, new cores load from the magazine, and tails glue on the fly. Guarding encloses the knife section completely, with interlocked access doors on both sides.
