The TX-DC80 transmits torque through stainless steel disc packs that flex for misalignment but do not slip, wind up or wear. With no sliding elements there is nothing to develop backlash: reversal at the motor arrives at the load with the fidelity servo axes and test benches demand.
The double-disc arrangement accepts angular and parallel offset simultaneously and remains torsionally stiff, keeping the drive train inside the frequency band the controller expects. Clamp hubs grip without keyways, preserving balance at speed and letting the coupling position anywhere along the shaft.
All-stainless construction shrugs off washdown chemicals, making the same part number valid from machine tool to food line.
