The VG-DR1612 drills tempered-ready holes with opposed spindles that work the same hole from both glass faces — the method that prevents breakout chipping on the exit side. Hole positions come from the CNC program or a barcode-linked job file, and the machine probes glass position before the first hole so datum errors do not travel down the sheet.
Spindle feed adapts to thickness automatically, with water coolant delivered through the drill core. Diameter changes use a quick-change chuck system, and the tool magazine holds the common diameter set for shower door and fitting work.
