Overhead Gantry Welding Station

A bridge-mounted robotic welding station for long weldments, with the robot suspended above the work so the floor stays clear for cranes and fixtures.

Overhead Welding Station

Very long weldments break conventional cells: they cannot be indexed on a turntable, and a floor-mounted robot spends most of its reach just getting to the joint. Mounting the robot on an overhead gantry solves both problems — the robot travels to the work, and the floor below stays clear for cranes and fixtures.

Accuracy over distance

The gantry structure is built, aligned and measured for consistent accuracy across its full travel, and seam tracking is fitted as standard to handle the natural variation of large fabricated parts.

High-deposition options

Where large welds govern the cycle, the station can be equipped with high-deposition welding processes that significantly reduce the number of passes required.
