SR-90G Galvanised Cold-Store Racking
- Upright section 90 x 70 mm, 2.0 / 2.5 mm gauge
- Beam capacity per pair 1 500 - 3 000 kg
RKL-SR90
The default adjustable beam racking: every pallet reachable from an aisle, beam levels moved by two people with a rubber mallet.
SR-90 is the system most buildings should start from. Every pallet position faces a working aisle, so a truck reaches any pallet without first moving another one, and stock rotation follows whatever your WMS decides rather than whatever the lane allows.
A beam pair carries the pallets sitting on it. The upright frame carries every beam pair in that bay plus its own weight. These are separate numbers and they fail in separate ways, so both appear on the layout drawing: beam capacity per pair for the heaviest single level, and bay load for the total of all levels together.
Beam connectors are bolt-free. The connector lugs drop into the upright perforation on a 50 mm pitch and two safety pins per end lock the beam down. Moving a level is a two-person job with a rubber mallet, which matters the first time a pallet height changes and 400 beam levels have to follow it.
Uprights are roll-formed from structural strip in a 90 x 70 mm section at 1.8, 2.0 and 2.5 mm gauge. Bracing is bolted rather than welded, so a diagonal hit by a fork is replaced without cutting the frame out of the run. Base plates take an M12 anchor and a shim pack for floors that are not as flat as the drawing assumed.
Beams are designed to a deflection limit of span/200 at full rated load. That figure is what a periodic inspection measures a loaded beam against, so it is printed on the layout drawing rather than left in a catalogue.
Enquire about this system
Send pallet dimensions, unit load weight and the clear height you have to work with. We will confirm the upright section, beam pair and bay pitch for this system.
Attach a floor plan or a pallet list if you have one. It removes a whole round of questions.
Please share your requirements, quantity, and specifications. We will reply promptly.
