What information do you need to quote a machine?
Three things start every recommendation: part drawings or samples with materials and gauges, the expected monthly volumes, and the available floor space with ceiling height and power supply. Material samples refine the quote to a committed specification with test cuts.
Fiber or CO2 — how do you choose?
By material. Metals cut efficiently with fiber sources; acrylic, wood, textiles and many composites are CO2 territory. Shops that process both usually end up with one of each rather than one compromise machine. Send the material list and we will size both sides honestly.
How is cutting capacity specified honestly?
Achievable thickness and speed depend on material grade, gas selection and the edge quality you will accept, so our quotes state capability against your specific parts and back it with acceptance cuts on your material. Nameplate maximums from ideal samples are not a number we trade on.
What does laser safety require on our floor?
It depends on the machine class and your layout: enclosed cabin machines carry their own containment, while open-bed and handheld welding installations need a documented site safety concept. We engineer the guarding with the quotation — always verify the final installation against your local regulations.
What are typical lead times?
Standard machines typically run a few months from order to acceptance test depending on configuration; automation and consumable kits are often faster. The order confirmation states the committed test date.
What documentation ships with a machine?
Every machine ships with its signed test record, beam profile, electrical drawings, spare parts book, operator and maintenance manuals, and the declaration of conformity. Records stay retrievable by serial number for the machine’s working life.
