Coolant Distribution
KX-CDU L600
Mid-Range Liquid-to-Liquid CDU
600 kW in a single-row footprint — the right size for a first liquid cooling pod without over-buying capacity.
- Rated capacity
- 600 kW
- Per rack
- 30 kW
- Nominal Delta-T
- 10 K
- Nominal flow
- 861 L/min
- Supply water
- W20 – W45 (20 – 45 °C)
- Max pressure
- 6.0 bar
- Partial PUE
- 1.07
- Working fluid
- Treated water or PG25 on both circuits
Most sites do not start their liquid cooling programme with a whole hall. They start with one pod: eight to twelve racks of accelerated compute, usually squeezed into a room that was designed for something much gentler. The KX-CDU L600 is built for exactly that project.
Right-sized, not cut down
The L600 is not a de-rated L1300. It uses the same isolation architecture, the same control firmware and the same N+1 pump philosophy, in a cabinet narrow enough to fit where the space actually exists. Nothing about the engineering is provisional just because the capacity is smaller.
Front service only
Every serviceable component — pumps, filters, sensors, controllers — comes out through the front. The unit can sit flat against a wall or at the end of a row without a rear clearance allowance, which is usually the difference between a plan that fits and one that does not.
Growing past it
L600 units can be manifolded in parallel as the pod grows, sharing a common secondary loop with automatic load balancing. When you outgrow two of them, the L1300 uses the same pipe sizes and the same control integration, so the expansion is mechanical rather than architectural.

Module 05 — Flow envelope
Delta-T against required flow
This unit rejects 600 kW. Widening the temperature difference across the loop cuts the volume of water you have to move — and pump power falls with roughly the cube of flow.
- Required flow
- 861 L/min
- Return temperature
- 40.0 °C at W30 supply
- Relative pump power
- 100 % of nominal
Water at 4.18 kJ/kg·K, density taken as 1 kg/L. Pump power index scales with the cube of the flow ratio against this unit’s nominal 10.0 K design point.
