Nordvik Barrel Sauna R240
A four-to-six person barrel cabin in thermo-treated aspen with a blackened steel band set, sized for gardens and lakeside decks.
- Capacity 4 – 6 bathers
- Heater Output 8.0 kW electric

A cassette-built indoor room that drops into an existing shell — bathrooms, basements and apartment wellness corners.
The M180 exists because most indoor sauna projects are retrofits. The room is built as four wall cassettes, a ceiling raft and a bench block, all sized to pass through a standard 800 mm door.
The vapour barrier is the part that decides whether an indoor sauna survives a decade. Ours is an aluminium-faced membrane lapped 100 mm at every joint and taped, then held off the lining by a 12 mm batten cavity so moisture that does get past has somewhere to go.
An inlet grille sits low behind the heater and an outlet grille sits high on the opposite wall, sized to give roughly six air changes per hour at bathing temperature. Both are supplied with the cabin.
Drawn from this model’s own footprint, with 600 mm of bench allowed per bather and the heater and door swing kept clear.
