Description

The R240 is our most-specified garden cabin. The barrel geometry puts the bather closer to the stone bed than a rectangular room of the same volume, so it reaches bathing temperature in roughly thirty-five minutes and holds it with a smaller heater.
The shell is machined from 42 mm Nordic spruce staves, tongued and grooved on a four-sided moulder so the joint stays tight through seasonal movement. The interior lining, benches and backrests are thermo-treated aspen, which stays comfortable against bare skin even at 95 °C.
Site requirements
The cabin sits on four pressure-treated cradles and needs a level bearing surface — a concrete pad, paving slabs or a timber deck rated for 450 kg per cradle. Electrical supply terminates at a junction box on the rear wall; the heater circuit must be protected by a 16 A three-phase breaker with a 30 mA RCD.
