What it does

Drums, speakers and footfall send vibration straight into the building structure, and no wall panel can stop that. The FR-Deck is a floating platform that sits on soft mounts, so the vibration stays in the platform instead of travelling to the rooms next door and below.

Assembly

  • Modules bolt together into any rectangular footprint.
  • An edge strip keeps the platform from touching the walls.
  • The cavity underneath is damped, so the platform does not drum.
  • Rated for heavy equipment and full drum kits.

Critical detail

A floating floor is only as good as its weakest point. One rigid screw down into the building, one cable fixed hard at both ends, and the whole effect is lost. We supply fitting details with every order and we would rather you called us than guessed.
