Long enough for two adults, narrow enough to live in a hallway. The seat is a single 32 mm plank; the legs are pegged into it through the rails rather than screwed up into the underside, which is the joint that usually gives way on a bench.
A low stretcher runs the length of the frame and is pegged at both ends. It is what stops the bench racking when someone sits down hard on one end.
