Description
A six-seat table that comes apart into three pieces and a top. The stretcher passes through both trestle ends and is held by one tapered peg at each end — pull those two pegs and the base folds away.
The top is a glued panel with breadboard ends, and it sits on the frame under its own weight, located by two shallow pockets. Nothing is screwed through it, so it can move across its width by a few millimetres a year without opening a joint.
