1400 mm across, which is the width at which a monitor and a notebook stop competing. The frame is two side rails and a back rail pegged into four legs; the front is left open so you can actually get your knees under it.
The tray sits 360 mm off the floor and takes a laptop bag, a power brick and a stack of paper. It is pegged into the side rails, so it is structural — it is also what stops the desk racking front-to-back.
