Kilnora started with a single secondhand wheel and a question: why does everyday tableware feel like it was made by nobody? We wanted plates with a maker’s hand still in them – throwing rings you can feel, glazes that pool and break, weight that means something.
What we make
Dinner plates, bowls, mugs, serveware and the pieces around them – all wheel-thrown stoneware, fired to 1,300 degrees in small kiln loads. Nothing is moulded, nothing is printed, and no two pieces match exactly. That is the point.

How we work
- Thrown: every form starts on the wheel, thrown and trimmed by hand.
- Glazed: our celadon, oatmeal and umber glazes are mixed in-house, lead-free and food-safe.
- Fired: slow stoneware firings make dense, chip-resistant ware that lives in the dishwasher.
- Replaced: every piece in every set stays individually available, so a chip is never the end of a set.
