Why one controller instead of four

Most greenhouses accumulate control equipment one purchase at a time: a heating controller, a vent controller, a screen timer, a humidity unit. Each is defensible on its own and the combination is not. The heating loop pushes pipe temperature up while the vents dump the heat outside; the screen closes for energy while the humidity climbs past the point where the crop stops transpiring.

The climate controller solves all four actuator groups against a single vapour pressure deficit target derived from the crop stage. When VPD drifts low, the controller decides between a screen gap, a minimum pipe increase and a vent step by comparing the energy cost of each, then executes the cheapest sequence that recovers the band.

Measurement first

Control is only as good as the measurement behind it. Every compartment is fitted with at least two aspirated sensor boxes at crop height, cross-checked continuously. If the two disagree beyond a configurable tolerance the controller flags a drift alarm and falls back to the sensor with the more plausible history rather than averaging a fault into the setpoint.

Commissioning and handover

Cabinets ship pre-wired and factory tested against your project setpoint table. On site our engineers tune the loops against live crop response over two growing weeks, then hand over the validated setpoints, the as-built wiring record and a written explanation of every non-default parameter.
