Rsafele offers Low-Resistance Neutral Grounding Resistor Assembly.
This assembly is applicable to power distribution networks of critical consumers with voltages below 110 kV, including urban distribution grids dominated by cable lines, large industrial plants, airports, ports, metro systems, offshore platforms, and auxiliary power systems of power plants.
Among neutral grounding schemes for distribution networks, the neutral low-resistance grounding mode generates a relatively large fault current during single-phase ground faults. It enables protective relays to isolate fault points rapidly and sensitively. Meanwhile, transient overvoltage can be limited to 2.5 p.u., which protects primary equipment against damage from arc overvoltage and effectively suppresses ferroresonance overvoltage.
The assembly consists of a grounding transformer, neutral grounding resistor, current transformer, disconnector and intelligent monitoring unit, all housed inside a metal cabinet.
