Rsafele offers Power Cable Distributed Fiber-Optic Temperature Monitoring System.
The Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) system is an intelligent monitoring solution dedicated to safe cable O&M. It delivers full-range real-time cable temperature monitoring, overheating early warning, fault localization and fire prevention, optimizes cable ampacity and archives temperature records for asset health management. Adopting passive sensing with outstanding anti-electromagnetic interference performance, it fits complex operating environments perfectly.
Built on Raman scattering and OTDR technologies, the temperature host emits laser pulses. It calculates temperature via the intensity ratio of anti-Stokes light to Stokes light within sensing fibers and locates risks by backscattered light time delay, enabling blind-zone-free precise temperature and position detection.
The system comprises temperature-sensing optical cables, temperature measuring host, data transmission units and a monitoring platform, responsible for sensing & signal transmission, signal demodulation, data interconnection, visualized management and interlock control respectively.
Widely deployed in cable tunnels, substations, rail transit, petrochemical zones, energy storage stations, data centers and high-rise distribution shafts, it offers all-round monitoring protection for cable facilities to ensure stable operation and eliminate overheating-related safety hazards.

Application Scenarios: full-coverage temperature monitoring for power cables, cable trays and cable tunnels; early warning of fire hazards and monitoring of temperature rise caused by overload.
