Oil-Immersed Transformer Oil Drain & Nitrogen Injection Fire Suppression Assembly

This system can automatically detect transformer fires and supports automatic, manual or remote activation. It actuates the oil drain valve for oil drainage and pressure relief. Meanwhile, the shut-off valve isolates the oil path between the conservator and transformer tank, and opens the nitrogen release valve to inject nitrogen into the transformer. The system combines fire prevention and fire suppression functions.
When the system carries out emergency rapid oil drainage, the shut-off valve automatically blocks the oil flow between the oil conservator and main transformer tank to prevent the fire from intensifying.
It is suitable for fire protection of oil-immersed power transformers and reactors in newly built, expanded and renovated power plants and substations.
