finished with flat seams. Made in small batches so the fit stays the
same from one order to the next.
Nothing here is a seasonal drop. These are the pieces customers come back for in a second colour once the first one has been through the wash forty times.
Everything in the collection is cut from one of these three. We buy them
by the roll from the same two mills, which is why a restock feels like
the piece you already own.

Silk that has been washed first
Mulberry silk is sand-washed before it is cut, so it arrives soft rather than crisp and keeps its handle after the first few washes instead of losing it.

Lace with a finished edge
Leavers-style lace is used at full width with its own scalloped selvedge as the trim, so there is no elastic band digging in along the top of the cup.

Cotton knitted to hold its shape
A tight rib in long-staple cotton with a small percentage of elastane. It recovers after wear, which is the difference between a brief that stays put and one that rides.
Fit
Getting the size right in four steps
Most people are wearing a band that is too loose and a cup that is too small. Ten minutes with a tape measure fixes it.
Tape snug and level, straight around, breathing out. Write the number down in centimetres — that is your band.

Measure the fullest part of the bust
Keep the tape loose enough to slide a finger under. The difference between this and the band is what sets the cup.

Read both numbers off the chart
Every style page lists the band and cup range it is cut for, plus the model’s own size, so you are not converting between systems.

Try it at home, exchange if it is off
Wear it around the house with the tags on. If the band rides or the cup gapes, exchange it once for free within 30 days.

people. When something sells out we would rather restock it than replace
it with a new shape.
