If you carry a jacket, a long wallet is simply better: banknotes stay flat, receipts stay readable, and the leather ages in a single unbroken sheet across the back panel instead of creasing down the middle.

The gusset

Full-length, made from 0.9 mm skived calf so it collapses rather than bunching. It gives you room for a passport without turning the wallet into a pouch.

Why it is reduced

This run came off a shoulder with more range marks than we normally allow through. The marks are cosmetic — healed scars from a fence, not weakness — and they will fade into the patina within a year. The leather is otherwise identical to the full-price run.
