Correcting inside the event
Batch tank systems mix a volume, measure it, and irrigate. If the recipe drifts, the whole batch drifts with it. The dosing unit injects and measures continuously in the delivery line, so a deviation is corrected within a few seconds of appearing rather than at the next tank fill.
Two cells, one decision
Every measurement point carries two independent cells. Agreement within tolerance allows dosing to continue. Disagreement halts injection, flushes clean water, and raises an alarm. In eleven years of installed units this arrangement has never let an out-of-spec solution reach a crop.
Drain as a control input
Drain volume and drain EC are measured per valve group and fed back into the irrigation strategy. Rather than irrigating on a fixed clock, the unit targets a drain percentage band appropriate to the crop stage, which is where most of the water saving in a retrofit actually comes from.
