What it is

A short-sleeve running tee in a 125 gsm polyester knit with enough elastane to pull back into shape after it has been stretched. The yarn is a hollow-core filament, which means each fibre carries an air channel down the middle. That makes the fabric feel lighter than 125 gsm suggests and gives it less solid material to hold water in. Hold the tee up to a window and you can see light through the knit.

How it fits

Close fit. It sits against the body without gripping, which is what you want under a shell or on anything longer than an hour, where a loose hem starts to move around. If you want room through the chest, take one size up; the body is cut for the close fit, so a size up also runs roughly 2 cm longer.

Construction

Shoulder and side seams are flatlock, so the join lies level with the fabric instead of standing up against skin. There is no seam under the arm, which is where most tees rub first when you carry anything. The hem drops at the back so it stays covered when you lean forward.

Care

Cold wash, hang dry, and leave the fabric softener out. Softener leaves a film on synthetic fibres and stops the knit moving moisture the way it was built to. [Client to confirm whether any fabric test reports are held for this knit before publishing performance figures.]
