Every unit ships with its own acceptance report. Extension tubes and adapters quoted with the lens.
A ring light is the usual first choice for general inspection because it is easy to mount and predictable. The difference between a good ring light and a cheap one is uniformity.
This model places its emitters behind a two-stage diffuser, so the illumination is even enough that simple image processing works without per-region correction.
Red suits most monochrome camera work, blue picks up fine surface texture, and white is for colour imaging or anywhere a human operator also has to look.
