The torch is one of the least expensive parts of a welding cell — and one of the most decisive for how reliably it runs. A well-specified torch package prevents the small, hard-to-trace problems that cause intermittent weld defects.
Collision protection that recovers
The torch mount is protected so that after an accidental collision it returns precisely to its original position, and the robot stops immediately rather than completing its motion — the difference between a quick reset and a scrapped fixture.
Consumables
Consumable life is recorded during commissioning and handed over as a baseline. A sudden change in consumable wear is an early warning sign that is worth investigating before weld quality is affected.
