Every other programme on this site produces data. This one is about what happens to it. A consignment without a defensible record is, for regulatory purposes, a consignment that was never controlled.
What the record contains
- Probe serial number, calibration certificate reference and calibration due date.
- Full reading set at the contracted interval, with no gaps and no post-hoc editing.
- Every door event, power interruption and set point change, time-stamped.
- Deviation entries with root cause, impact assessment and closure signature.
Calibration discipline
Probes are calibrated against a traceable reference on a twelve-month cycle, with a mid-cycle verification check. A probe that fails verification takes every consignment it touched since its last good check into review. That is expensive, which is exactly why the verification interval is short.
Release timing
The report is released within four hours of delivery, not at month end. A record that arrives after the product has been used is an audit artefact, not a control.
