An aerial basemap is only worth having if you can measure off it. That means correcting the imagery against a true surface model, routing the joins between photos around buildings rather than through them, and balancing the colours so edges stay crisp.

Delivered as a tiled image with overviews, sized so your GIS opens it without complaint.

Standing buildings back up

Tall structures appear to lean in every aerial photo not taken directly above them. A casually stitched mosaic keeps that lean; a properly rectified map removes it. The difference can be metres, and it is why the two are not the same product.

When to buy this alone

If you need a current basemap, a boundary check or a compliance record and you do not need a terrain surface, this is the most economical product we sell.
