Transmission Corridor Inspection

Corridors are flown as parallel strips along the asset rather than as a block across it. Multiple overlapping passes put the line in view from both sides, which is what makes the conductor itself reconstructable in three dimensions rather than a blur.

The outer strips deliberately extend past the easement, so vegetation leaning in from outside the maintained corridor is captured as well.

Clearance, not pictures

The deliverable is a clearance model: the conductor, the ground, the vegetation, and the shortest distance between them at every span, reported against the clearance standard you work to. Encroachments are listed span by span with a location and a measured distance.

Corridor economics

A long narrow corridor takes more flying than a compact block of the same area, because the mapped strip is narrower than the camera’s footprint. We quote corridors by the kilometre for that reason.
